This update is part of our ongoing commitment to provide our users with the latest and most efficient tools for managing their distributed systems, with both releases containing important security fixes.** In the coming weeks we will be transitioning the lifecycle states of the older versions to more restrictive states. We recommend all customers work with our support team to schedule their upgrades. Released on March 5th, 2024, ZooKeeper 3.8.4 is the latest bugfix release of the ZooKeeper 3.8 branch. Compared to [ZooKeeper 3.8.2](https://zookeeper.apache.org/doc/r3.8.2/releasenotes.html) it includes some improvements, bugfixes and several CVE fixes impacting libraries and components, including: - netty ([ZOOKEEPER-4755](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4755) and [ZOOKEEPER-4762](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4762)), - jetty ([ZOOKEEPER-4754](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4754)), - snappy-java ([ZOOKEEPER-4751](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4751) and [ZOOKEEPER-4758](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZOOKEEPER-4758)) [ZooKeeper 3.7.2](https://zookeeper.apache.org/doc/r3.7.2/releasenotes.html) is the current ZooKeeper release for the 3.7 branch, and successor to [ZooKeeper 3.7.1](https://zookeeper.apache.org/doc/r3.7.1/releasenotes.html) on our managed platform. To start using ZooKeeper 3.8.4 or 3.7.2 on the Instaclustr managed platform, simply select the desired version when creating a new cluster.
