Availability of Instaclustr Managed Elasticsearch™ on GCP and Azure

Instaclustr is pleased to announce the availability of its Elasticsearch Managed Service on the GCP and Azure clouds.

Following the recent release of the Elasticsearch service on the Instaclustr Managed Platform in March, we have been working on continuously enhancing the quality of the service, and increasing the breadth of its features and supported platforms. Customers using GCP and Azure clouds can now use our Managed Elasticsearch service to rapidly deploy enterprise grade Elasticsearch clusters and start reaping the benefits of Elasticsearch without worrying about its operational management.

Our Elasticsearch service on GCP and Azure comes with the same platform capabilities that are offered for the rest of our tech offerings such as Apache Cassandra and Apache Kafka. All Elasticsearch specific features available on AWS are available on GCP and Azure.

For the full list of our Elasticsearch service read the General Availability announcement blog.

Supported Instance Types

We have a range of instance types available to select from when provisioning an Elasticsearch cluster. Depending on your use case, you may choose an appropriate instance type for your nodes. If you want to have a look at all available instance types for Elasticsearch service on GCP and Azure, you can find them on the Instaclustr Management Console. More instance types may be supported in the future including instance store options depending on customer demand. We also provide customers with the choice of deploying clusters in Instaclustr’s cloud account (RIIA) or in their own cloud account (RIYOA) to suit their needs.

More details on how to deploy and monitor an Elasticsearch cluster on the Instaclustr Managed Platform and the available interfaces to do it are described on our Support site.

If you are using or planning to use Elasticsearch in your technology stack, we highly recommend you to try using our Managed Elasticsearch service and experiment with it free for 30 days. New customers can begin a free trial of Instaclustr Managed Elasticsearch here, or contact the Instaclustr Sales or Customer Success team for custom requirements or if you have questions about this service.
