Announcing Custom Data Center Subnet Allocation

News

Instaclustr is pleased to announce changes which allow customers finer control of internal network ranges allocated to data center.  Previously, when creating or adding a data center, data center subnets were allocated automatically and sequentially.  Customers can now choose custom address ranges for individual data centers, which must still be subnets of the cluster network.

This feature was requested by our enterprise customers with tight corporate controls over internal network allocations. The feature is available immediately for all customers when adding new data centers or clusters.  Further details are available in the support article: Network Address Allocation.
