NetApp Announces General Availability of Cadence Web 4.0 and Cadence version 1.3.2 on the NetApp Instaclustr Managed Platform

Cadence® Web 4.0 has been released to General Availability on the NetApp Instaclustr Managed Platform along with Cadence version 1.3.2. This release marks a major step forward for Cadence’s front-end interface plus an expansion to Cadence workflow management. 

 

Cadence Web 4.0 is a complete rewrite of the web interface for Cadence now built on the open source react and node.js frameworks. By moving away from Vue.js and adopting these modern frameworks the Cadence Workflow project is seeking to actively modernize and streamline both developer and user experiences when working with Cadence Web and Cadence more broadly. 

These new frameworks will greatly enhance the speed at which new features can be added and items such as workflow actions, extended domain information and workflow diagnostics have been marked as next steps for the project. 

Key Enhancements in Cadence Web 4.0 

  • The Cadence Web 4.0 sleek and modern interface has been designed to improve navigation and ease of managing workflows. 
  • The re-write onto a modern tech stack has resulted in improved load times and users can now expect a significantly more responsive user experience on Cadence Web, even in large-scale deployments. 
  • The workflow history views have been consolidated allowing users access to all the workflow context and run history information on a single page.
