Memory Metrics

The Memory metric group contains a single per-node metric; Memory Available.

Memory Available

This metric shows the amount of usable memory available on each node, measured in megabytes. If your usable memory is getting very low, you may need to increase the size of nodes in your cluster.

Optimal performance of PostgreSQL requires the majority of queries to be fulfilled using data in the shared buffer cache (stored in memory), and not by reading from disk.
