AWS Marketplace

One AWS bill for managed Instaclustr services. Subscribing to NetApp Instaclustr through AWS Marketplace links an Instaclustr account to your AWS Marketplace subscription. Usage of your managed data services then appears on your monthly AWS bill alongside the rest of your cloud spend.

The subscription changes how you purchase and pay for the service. You still create and operate clusters in the Instaclustr Console and receive the same managed service and support. The AWS Marketplace listing uses consumption-based pricing, so charges scale with the Standard Units your services use.

This guide walks through the three things you need to get right: opening the NetApp Instaclustr listing, completing the Marketplace subscription and linking it to a new or existing Instaclustr account, and understanding pricing, invoicing, and scope once you are live. Before you start, make sure you have permission to subscribe to products through AWS Marketplace.

1

Open the AWS Marketplace listing

Start from the NetApp Instaclustr product listing in AWS Marketplace.

2

Complete the subscription flow

  1. Open the listing

Open the NetApp Instaclustr product listing in AWS Marketplace.

  2. Subscribe

Review the product and pricing information, then subscribe through AWS Marketplace.

  3. Link or create your Instaclustr account

Select Set up your account. To link an existing Instaclustr account, sign in to the Instaclustr Console before selecting it; otherwise, follow the sign-up flow to create a linked account.

  4. Use Instaclustr

Continue in the Instaclustr Console to create and manage services on AWS infrastructure.

3

Understand billing

Pricing display

Cluster and add-on costs appear in Instaclustr Standard Units. Consult the AWS Marketplace product listing to convert those units to USD.

Invoice route

Charges for your use of Instaclustr services are included on your monthly AWS bill.

Infrastructure costs

The Marketplace price covers the Instaclustr managed service. AWS infrastructure such as compute and storage is charged separately.

Scope

An account linked to an AWS Marketplace subscription can only be used to create clusters on AWS infrastructure.

Unsubscribing deletes all clusters in the linked account

Unsubscribe in AWS Marketplace only when you intend to remove the service. Unsubscribing deletes every cluster in the linked Instaclustr account. If this happens accidentally, contact [email protected] immediately—the recovery window before permanent data loss is very limited.
