CAS Reads and CAS Writes

CAS (Compare-And-Set) Reads and Writes are a specialized metric which are triggered when a compare and set is conducted.

CAS Reads count the number of read requests triggered as part of Lightweight Transactions. CAS Writes count the number of conditional write requests processed.

High CAS Reads or CAS Writes values could impact performance.

To view these metrics go to the Monitoring tab on your cluster, and search for the Client CAS Operations & Latency metrics group.

Reads per second and request latency metrics are available for range slices.
