Announcement: RIYOA is now BYOC, and RICMI is now On-Premises
We’re renaming two deployment models on the NetApp Instaclustr Managed Platform to make it easier to understand where Instaclustr-managed services run.
Here’s what’s changing:

Note: Our hosted deployment model’s name – Run In Instaclustr Account(RIIA), remains unchanged. With RIIA, you can deploy fully managed clusters in NetApp Instaclustr owned cloud accounts.
Why the change?
The new names describe where services are deployed and align with widely recognized terminology. This makes it easier for customers evaluating Instaclustr to understand the available deployment options.
What do I need to do?
Nothing. No action is required as a result of this change.
This is a terminology change only and does not change your deployments, integrations, configurations, or support experience. Existing contracts, billing constructs, and SLAs are not modified by this terminology update.
Over the coming weeks, you may see both the existing and new names during the transition as we progressively update the Instaclustr Console, Cloud Marketplaces listings, blog posts, Documentation, and other resources.
